The older I get the less I sleep. I maybe sleep good twice a week. With Wrangler’s bicep injury sleep is disturbed by his groans of pain in the night when he moves. I am a light sleeper.
This morning I was doing the fighting something in my dream bit around 4. All of sudden a semi fired up. I jumped up awake thinking someone had started Elmo when it was a truck being started a block away at the local grain elevator. Sleep never was again achieved. Luckily I had a decent nap yesterday so this should help fuel me today.
This weekend we had blowing snow Saturday. I would say three to four inches of very wet snow which has pretty much melted. They are calling for more today. It was a weekend spent inside. Yesterday I was able to do a couple of things outdoors but it was not for long before the cold wind drove me back inside.

Some of my latest edits.

They still are sleeping buddies.
Cute pics. Wishing you better sleep! As a fellow light sleeper who just woke up at 3am, I feel ya! Yes, itβs been an unusually cold and stormy spring. We will see what happens.
We are happy with the stormy part. Last year we were in such a bad drought.
So sorry your sleep has been interrupted. I think this is the plight of every female – we are attuned to wake at the slightest sound to attend to infants and children and to keep the home safe… Remy looks as big as Rex!
Remy is getting there in size for sure.
Beautiful photos!
Love the sleepin’ buddies! π β€οΈ
Sorry to hear about your sleep issues. I used to be a great sleeper when I was younger.
The more well-seasoned I get the worse I sleep. π¦
We are finally getting some sun, but it’s still cold and windy.
Should start warming up this week…I hope, I hope, I hope! π π
(((HUGS))) π β€οΈ
Thank you. By Thursday we are in the 70s.
Good!
Our high on Thursday is supposed to be 46. But by Sunday 64. π
Good.
Hope your today is going well!
BTW, have you ever tried using a white noise machine while you sleep? I use one and it helps block out the noises from outside.
I have tried White noise. I noticed no difference.
I tried it some years ago and it’s helped me. I even take it along when traveling.
Interesting. To me a truck running is when i sleep the best. Since being home all the time my sleep has went down.
Maybe the truck running was like a white noise for you. I can understand how you would miss it now that you are sleeping in a different environment, etc.
Yes. It was such a huge part of life for so long.
The sleeping buddies don’t seem to have a problem sleeping. The older I get the less I sleep – but you are not old enough for that. Light is what wakes Jackie: it is noise for me.
Noise for me for sure.
Sorry your sleep was disturbed. I know I hate when my sleep is disturbed.
It’s no fun.
