Almost home

We are almost home.  It’s a short week for us.  It’s a good thing because I am one day short on the weekend.   I have a retirement party for an uncle to go to Saturday.  Wrangler gets to put brakes on the truck.  We will be gone all next weekend so it’s going to be a bust couple of days this weekend.

We are done for the day already we are in Joplin, Missouri.  An early day works for me.  I am tired and ready for a nap.  Rex is sick today.  He has thrown up two times.  He is just not his normal self.  We can not load until tomorrow.

Hitting the road

Wr are hitting the road.  It’s been a crazy day.  I am kind of grumpy no thanks to the rude little man.  I am ready to be up in the semi heading down the road with my boys.

Wrangler got news that someone who was like a grandma died yesterday.  I threw a couple of nice sets of clothes in just in case we make the funeral Friday.

On another note the wind is blowing really bad.  It’s another nasty Kansas spring day.  I have my sweatshirt off and now my skin hurts from all the sand pelting my skin on the walk to the semi.

Still at home

We are at home tonight.  Wrangler’s truck should be done in the morning.  He is not feeling good.  He has a cold sitting in.  BIL had the same thing start Saturday.  Hopefully he will get a good night sleep so I can sleep tonight.  I took BIL to the meet spot with MIL.  It’s quiet around here.

Yesterday was a good day.  We had seven for lunch.  My sister and her husband stopped by for ten minutes in the afternoon.   Last night by the time everyone left I was tires and not feeling like posting anything.  BIL goes home today.  Wrangler’s truck should be done shortly.  I am packed for a week in the semi.  I am ready to go.
