My pumpkin carving helper

image

Cinch helped me carve one of my pumpkins last night.  The funny thing is he is fine with the pumpkins in the day light but you put a candle in one he barks and growls at it.

Halloween decorations

I have decorated for Halloween.

I made these little ghost out of trash bags that are too small to fit in my small trash cans.  And used newspapers for the heads.

Than I scattered them in the trees.

I also cut the corn stalks down in the garden and may a shock for decoration.  I am getting a second use out of it.

Happy Halloween

Scared

Tonight I got scared to death.  Wrangler was not involved.  Cinch and I were in the living room watching tv around nine.  We had the outside lights on also.  We were waiting on a friend to come back.  Somebody knocked on the door but when I answered no one was there.  I let Cinch loose.  He started hunting them.  I had a horrible flash light and that’s it.  Well after a two minute period of nothing I caught a glimpse of white in the lights at the coop tanks.  Than I got a glimpse of the vehicle pulling away.  It belongs to a local high school student.  Cinch is sitting by the bedroom door growling.  I got a high powered portable light from the shop and put it by the door.  Wrangler is worried about me.

Garden jackolantern

Warning little eyes should not see this.  This is what happens when you let a twenty-five year old childless male carve a pumpkin.

Only my husband would use a majority of our garden in his masterpiece.

The night view is better.  Now I have to get my pumpkin carved in the next two nights.
